No reunion is complete until we take time to learn of, remember, and mourn classmates and faculty whom we’ll never meet again. All of us have special friends or important influences who died too young. May the number of yours in this list be few.
A word about images. Wouldn't it be great if Phillipp’s Studio could supply digital images of all the classes they ever shot? Sadly, that being unlikely, we're reduced to scanning from the yearbook, and the relatively coarse resolution that yields (due to traditional photo processing in the printing business). Still, these images are better than nothing—particularly if you haven't seen a yearbook in 40+ years.
These lists were compiled from the several reunion booklets in my possession, from Eileen (Brennan) McDonald’s notes, personal contacts with former BoE employees, and purloined data from other McArthur websites. Unfortunately, I don’t have any information on the circumstances of anyone’s passing than that they did.
If you know of someone who should be on this list (but we wish they weren’t), please let me know so I can update accordingly. Hardly anyone goes through life without musing, “I wonder where my old friend or valued mentor is now.” With this information we can try to get closure.
